Histogram
Authors: Goran Katić and Marina Ćosić
When you look at a photograph on the LCD of your camera, double-check the histogram form time to time.
Do not blindly trust display: it likes to "lie" a bit, making photographs appear lighter than they really are. That can, especially, happen outdoors when the sunlight reflects on it and, no matter how much you try to prevent it, it’s hard to see.
Different cameras display image differently on the LCD. That’s why if you have purchased a new camera it’s possible you will see a different photograph on your monitor display from the one you saw on your new camera’s LCD. When not so sure, rather take a few additional photos, underexposed and overexposed one, so, later, you can chose the one you like best.
