Photo films

This page has short descriptions of photo films.
Few suggestions when purchasing films:
- To have as better quality photographs and negatives as possible don't buy films which are exposed to the sun for too long like the ones in the tobacconist's shops and similar stores where no one bothers storing and, generally, taking care of films.
- Check the expiry date, although, well stored films can often be used after the expiration date.
Taking care of negatives:
If you don't plan to use films for quite some time, put them in the refrigerator. When you take the film out of the refrigerator leave it on the room temperature because sudden temperature changes will destroy it. Condensation will appear on the film.
135mm negatives are best cut in strips of 6 shots and put in the negative protectors as, with often spooling and fitting in the film cases, negatives can get damaged. They can get small scratches which won't be visible on the 10x15 formats but sure will on the 20x30 formats.
Films (developed or undeveloped) need to be kept on a dry, cool and, especially, dark place.
